Learning from home during this lockdown period doesn't have to be boring for children and stressful for parents. Your children's screen time can be a lot more fulfilling than just games and videos.
Here is a list of free educational resources that both parents and children would love. I have personally gone through all of them and made sure they are educational, fun, resourceful and all-rounded.
This list not only includes fun resources such as story books and games; factual learning such as science and history; essential skills such as math, language and technology, but also well-rounded learning such as music, culture & arts, as well as physical movements. I hope you and your children will enjoy learning together.
1. Amazon's Audible Stories - https://stories.audible.com/discovery
Free stories for kids of all ages: hundreds of Audible audio titles across six different languages - English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese. For free, so they can keep learning, dreaming and just being kids.
2. Google Arts & Culture - https://artsandculture.google.com
Google Arts & Culture teamed up with over 2500 museums and galleries around the world to bring anyone and everyone virtual tours and online exhibits of some of the most famous museums around the world..Now, you get “go to the museum” and never have to leave your couch. Google Arts & Culture’s collection includes the British Museum in London, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Guggenheim in New York City, and literally hundreds of more places where you can gain knowledge about art, history, and science.

Amazing facts about animals, science, history and geography, along with fun competitions, games and videos.
4. TED-ed - https://ed.ted.com
TED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. TED-Ed’s mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world. Students can explore topics of their interests, create their own videos for sharing, discover video-based lessons organised by age/subject.
5. Scratch - https://scratch.mit.edu/explore/projects/games/
You can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century. Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.

Learn a new language or brush up your skills on a second language during this time. Easy to use and clean interface for children to navigate. Fun for adults and children too.
7. Tinkercad - https://www.tinkercad.com
Tinkercad is a free online collection of software tools that help people all over the world think, create and make. Provided by Autodesk, a company that offers 3D design, engineering and entertainment software.
8. GoNoodle - https://www.gonoodle.com/
GoNoodle is free and provides 100s of movement and mindfulness videos for kids, keeping them physically active and happy even when stuck at home. Seriously, parents let them go crazy and go noodle, and you will keep your sanity.

Lots of learning resources: from reading, math, phonics to activities such as colouring and cooking. Grouped by age from 3 - 11.

Amazing learning resources for primary schools offering video, audio and downloads for Early Years, KS1 & KS2 covering music, dance, history, collective worship, literacy and maths and some additional resources for secondary schools at KS3 & KS4.
